Three years ago today, Clutch Justice was born with nothing more than a WordPress login, a bone-deep sense of urgency, and the belief that someone had to start saying the quiet parts out loud.

We weren’t backed by a foundation. We didn’t wait for permission. We just started digging.

Today, ClutchJustice.com has grown into an independent grassroots news desk with over 6,000 monthly readers and more than 11,000 page views, built from scratch by and for people who are tired of being gaslit by the systems that claim to serve them. We’ve broken stories that mainstream outlets wouldn’t touch, exposed misconduct that oversight agencies tried to bury, and created space for voices that are too often shut out of the official record.

What We’ve Covered

I’m launching Read With Clutcha podcast, and I’m developing a growing suite of digital toolkits for citizen watchdogs, whistleblowers, and movement builders.

Here’s What I’ve Learned

  • You don’t need a newsroom to be a journalist. You need courage, facts, and receipts.
  • Public records are a goldmine when you know what to look for and a nightmare when people don’t want you to see.
  • The truth will not set you free unless you make it public.
  • And nothing changes if we don’t call it out; loudly, persistently, and with no apologies.

What’s Next

We’re just getting started. In Year 4, Clutch is also expanding into:

  • premium subscription tier to help fund deeper investigations
  • An interactive Brady/Giglio misconduct database
  • Strategic partnerships with justice-centered orgs
  • And more voices from the margins elevated through Q&As, op-eds, and contributor series

I’m just getting started. And clutch will keep showing up. Keep publishing receipts. Keep challenging the institutions that rely on silence to stay powerful.

Thank you for riding with us.

Happy birthday, Clutch. Let’s raise more hell.
