This is your friendly-but-bossy reminder that the Brick by Brick Virtual Reentry Conference is happening this Thursday, November 6, and if you care about reentry, families trying to rebuild, or systems that actually reduce recidivism instead of just talking about it, you need to be there.

This isn’t one of those “someone talks at you for 6 hours about things they’ve never lived” kind of events. Brick by Brick is about real people doing real reentry work; community leaders, justice-impacted folks, people helping loved ones come home, and advocates who know the system from the inside out.
Why it matters
I’m not saying any of this because clutch is a sponsor. I’m saying all of this because I believe in this work.
- Because reentry is where the system either keeps people trapped… or gives them a real second shot.
- Because families need tools, not lectures.
- Because communities need reentry plans that are actually funded and human-centered.
- …And because too many people come home to nothing, and then we act surprised when the cycle repeats.
This conference is one of those spaces where we stop pretending “support” is inspirational quotes and actually talk housing, employment, mental health, and staying out for good.
Bring:
- Your notetaking brain 🧠
- Your “I’m tired of the system doing the bare minimum” energy
- Your network; send the link to case managers, churches, returning citizens, social workers, and those aunties who run the whole block
Again: Thursday, November 6. Virtual. No travel, no excuses.
