The Center for Justice Innovation is on a mission to help courts facing Sixth Amendment issues that prevent speedy trials and access to courts.
This includes common problems such as case backlogs, availability of counsel, trial preparation issues, and coercive elements of plea bargaining.
As part of a special program with the Bureau of Justice Assistance’s Sixth Amendment Initiative, Justice for All, CJI is offering two levels of support such as On Demand Strategic Planning and Limited Training and Technical Assistance.
By addressing legal system roadblocks and challenges, courts can better protect the Sixth Amendment, providing accurate verdicts and fair case outcomes.
