I have not been quiet about Judge Michael Schipper’s penchant for making an unnecessary mess of people’s lives through their broken plea bargains.

Hopefully we’re nearing the end of the nightmare, but until then, our family is always looking for ways to smile. To stay strong, to hold onto our smiles just a little longer.

While we do have new puppies the house, sometimes, really funny things cross our minds and have a good long laughing fit. Because it’s so nice to see my kids smile even after everything has gone wrong.

I’ve been perplexed by Judge Schipper’s mustache for a while now. But it was only in the last few weeks that I began calling him Judge Joe Dirt Squirrel to make the kids laugh. As this joke became used more and more, we employed technology to make it happen.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I present you…

I have always been a fairly crafty and creative person. I’m just going to chalk this up to creative art therapy. These pictures have made the kids and me laugh so hard that we’ve cried; gasped for breath even.

Seeing my children laugh so hard in spite of desperately missing their father is 200% worth it.

I hope it helps comfort other families that he has so deeply hurt, too.
