Harry P. Newblatt
Michigan State Police records reveal that on February 2, 1977, he was responsible for reducing the bond of Oakland County Child Killer Suspect Christopher Busch, dropping it from $75,000 to $1,000, even with his history of molesting multiple children across four Michigan Counties.
Busch would go on to kill another child while on bond.
Christopher Busch was the son of H. Lee Busch, General Motors Executive Financial Director in Europe and the US, and GM was a major employer in Flint, MI at that time.
Brother to Judge Stewart Newblatt, who was also a Genesee County, Michigan Judge during the 1970's. Stewart Newblatt is one of multiple legal professionals connected to the OCCK case who went on to serve as a United States Eastern District Judge. Harry became a Central District judge.
