Israel Keyes: The Map

Twenty-three documented locations: where he says he killed, where he buried caches, the trips the FBI is still asking about, and the trail that ended in Lufkin. Filter by region to focus the map and the list below it.

How to read this map Locations come from the FBI’s August 2013 timeline, court records, and the reporting cited in the case library. Crime locations marked “by his account” rest on Keyes’s own statements. The FBI has said he committed homicides in fewer than ten states and never disclosed all of them, so this map shows what is documented, not everywhere he went. Clustered points are offset slightly, with a line to the true location.
